TAL Releases Filter II

Togu Audio Line, everyone's favorite purveyors of free plug-ins, has released TAL-Filter II, a more advanced version of their previous TAL-Filter. It includes all the filter types found on their popular TAL-NoiseMaker synth in their 4X over-sampled glory. The filter can be synced to your host and includes panorama and amplitude modulation in addition to modulating the filter. Additionally, the filter can be saturated and distorted via adjustable input levels. TAL-Filter II is available on both Mac and PC platforms in VST and AU formats. Here's a run-down of the features:

  • Create host / beat synced modulations.
  • Easy to use graphical editor (double click deletes points, a click adds one).
  • 4x oversampled TAL-NoiseMaker filters.
  • Different filter types: LP 24 dB, LP 18dB, LP 12dB, LP 6dB, HP 12 dB, BP 12dB, N 12 dB.
  • Its possible to saturate / distort the input signal by raising the input volume (only for filters).
  • Panorama modulation.
  • Volume modulation.
  • Different modulation tempo (x1, x2, .. x32).
  • Depth control as a simple way to control the modulation intensity.
  • Free as always.

I stumbled across this last night while updating my NoiseMaker. It looks pretty sweet, especially as it isn't limited to filter cutoff. Thanks for keeping everybody in the loop, Tom!

Seems the things made for Dubstep wobble, huh? Just automate the BPM factor setting and you're there.
